The Kesh - Irish Jig

The Kesh is perhaps the most popular jig in the entire Irish fiddle repertoire. Weekly Irish fiddle sessions are common across Ireland, the U.K., the U.S.A, and other parts of the world, including (pre-pandemic) a session every Wednesday evening at Dunne's in White Plains.

The band below is playing a set of two Jigs (Irish tunes are commonly played in sets of 2-3 at at a time). The band includes fiddles, guitar, and bass, plus the Bodrhán (traditional Irish drum played with a 2-sided stick) and Irish bagpipes.
