Recuerdos de la Alhambra is a piece for solo guitar, written by Spanish composer Francisco Tárrega. Spain has a long history of excellent guitar music in many styles, from various regions of the country. Tárrega's father was a flamenco guitarist, and Tárrega received early training as a musician because a childhood accident left his vision significantly impaired. He is considered "the father of classical guitar" and one of the greatest guitarists of all time.
